Health Wellness Center Shanghai will be built in order to achieve the primary mission of the Health Wellness Technology Corporation of bringing world-class care to those in emerging countries, serving both urban and rural populations through the development and integration of medical and communications technologies and services.   This state-of-the-art Shanghai center will be a prototype model for additional Health Wellness Centers throughout China as well as other countries with similar demands and conditions that support private, profitable and effective health care services.

We are in search of investors, vendors and researchers for the Health Wellness Center Shanghai project, scheduled for opening in 2008. 

ENVIRODESIGN, Architects & Planners and COMPONOFORM™ International, LLC, in the U.S. together with Shanghai University Medical Technologies Investment Co., Ltd, (SUMTI) in China are the project designers and coordinate all project planning, design, development, and construction activities. Construction of the Health Wellness Center Shanghai is scheduled to begin in 2007. Project budget, including the computer center and all state of the art medical equipment, is estimated at U.S. $ 200 million.

Next Steps

  • Secure VC investment of $ 10,000,000 to activate Health Wellness Center Shanghai project in joint venture with Chinese construction company

  • Complete all agreements with all parties, both in US and China

  • Acquire building site, obtain all permits, start construction in 2007 with expected completion by the end of 2008

  • Continue to develop relationships with medical and technology companies

  • Create Health Wellness Center Shanghai operational management structure

  • Begin recruitment of management staff, doctors, technology experts

  • Begin required training and certification programs for all Chinese personnel
